Valery Stoianov is a professor at the Institute for Historical Studies - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, PhD at Humboldt University Berlin (1981), D.Sc. (2004). His scholarly interests are in the field of border studies of history, historical ethnology and anthropology, East and South-Eastern Europe.
Валери Стоянов е професор в Института за исторически изследвания към Българска академия на науките, доктор на Хумболтовия университет в Берлин (1981), доктор на науките (2004). Научните му интереси са насочени към граничните области на историята, историческата етнология и антропология, Източна и Югоизточна Европа.
